Traditional CSA

A CSA model where the farm decides what's in each week's box and members receive whatever is at peak harvest that week.

A traditional CSA delivers a pre-packed box each week containing whatever the farm harvested at peak. Members surrender choice in exchange for freshness, variety, and a direct connection to the farm's growing rhythm.

Strengths: simplest for the farm to operate (one box design, less labor), forces members to cook adventurously with items they wouldn't choose at a store, highest freshness. Weaknesses: members who don't like surprise vegetables, or who already have strong preferences, sometimes struggle with the "I got three bunches of kohlrabi" week.
